Ground Rules

Before arriving to class

Create a MindBody profile, sign your new student waiver, and sign up for class before you arrive. Bring your mat, a hand towel, a mat towel, and your water bottle. If you forget, no worries! We have mats and towels for rent in-studio and water bottles for purchase.

Arriving to class

The Studio is located right on Main Street. There is plenty of metered street parking (bring quarters or pay with the Passport app) as well as two municipal lots at the bottom of the hill. With this in mind, we ask that all students arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time for parking, signing in, and settling in. Out of respect for our community members, class will begin and end on time.

Disconnect to reconnect

Our signature classes are intentionally designed to feel like a complete oasis, an escape from the everyday - right here in your hometown. For that reason, we kindly ask that you leave your devices safely secured in your cubby, along with your personal belongings. This is your time to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect to your inner landscape.

Savasana is non-negotiable

Without Savasana (the final resting pose in yoga), our practice is incomplete. Though it may seem counterintuitive, our whole physical practice prepares us for those final meditative moments of class. While it can be tempting to roll up your mat and start heading out, Savasana is where we integrate all the benefits of our practice - mind, body, and soul. We know it’s the hardest yoga pose, and that’s why we want you to stay. We can do hard things.
